Contrary to what you may have heard, AM/FM is not folding or shutting down. It is true however that our long-time friend and drummer Rick Decoste, has decided to hang up his sticks (so to speak). At the same time, our soundman Corey McLaughlin has also decided to move on to other projects. For the past several years, we have been priviledged to include drummer Rick Decoste (15 yrs) and soundman Corey McLaughlin (11 yrs) as part of the AM/FM family. New Year's Eve 2010, will mark the final evening that will include Rick at the drum kit and Corey at the soundboard. Rick began his musical career playing with his parents in their very popular local dance band. In 1995, he made the move to become the drummer for AM/FM. While it won't be easy, the band is looking forward to the challenge of recruiting replacements for both positions. Although we will miss Rick and Corey very much, we do wish them the very best as they take a well-deserved break.
